The Abstract:
UGA Faculty Recognition Banquet 2016. Poster Presentation: Building a Character's Mask Inside and Out: A Practice-as-Research class module for constructing a performance through the use of self, character analysis, and physical masks. This poster presented work developing a new class module asking graduate students to research world masks and human facial expressions, to construct and analyse a 3D printed model of their faces, to design and build a mask, and devise an original solo performance of that mask.
Panel: Machiavelli and La Mandragola Invited to participate in panel discussion presenting Creative Practice-as-Research from directing the production of Machiavelli's Mandrake. Puppets to People: Staging Masculinities and Power in La Mandragola.
